Ioannina, Milos and Syros airports receive EASA certification

Three state-owned airports have obtained certification from the Civil Aviation Authority based on the EASA criteria. In particular, the state airports of Ioannina, Syros and Milos were granted EASA certification on Friday.

On January 24, the state airports of Heraklion and Alexandroupolis received the relevant certification, which concerns their compliance with the requirements of the European Union and EASA, through procedures for the proper and safe operation of the airports.

In order to ensure the smooth and safe operation of all state airports in Greece, the certification of the state airports of Kythera, Chios and Sitia will follow on 14 February. The process will be completed before the end of February, with the certification of the state airports of Karpathos and Lemnos.
