The AHEPA Emergency Fund is open to accept donations

WASHINGTON, DC: .- The AHEPA Emergency Fund is now open to accept donations to assist those being affected by the wildfires currently devastating Southern California, AHEPA Supreme President Savas C. Tsivicos announced today [1/9].

According to a press release, as California is a part of AHEPA El Camino Real District 20, the Supreme President has been in contact with District Leadership to see what the organization can do to help on global scale.

“For now, we once again ask our members and friends to donate what they can to raise funds for the recovery effort that will be necessary after a tragedy such as this”, Tsivicos noted adding that “in times like these, the AHEPA Family continues to come together in support of their brothers, sisters, and community members in distress”.

“Since 1922, AHEPA has raised millions of dollars in disaster relief, and we have faith that this trend will continue. All funds received will go directly to District 20 to be distributed where they are most needed and provide immediate support and aid wherever possible”, he said, calling also for those individuals who can SAFELY donate time and assistance to those being affected by the wildfires, to please do so.

AHEPA asks all Chapters, members and individuals who would donating on line to do so via their website or to send their check, made out to the AHEPA Emergency Fund to:
