Laskarina “Bouboulina” Pinotsi was a Greek heroine of the Greek Revolution of 1821. Probably, she was the most important woman who took part in the revolution. After his death, he received the honorary title of Vice Admiral from the Hellenic State. He fought heroically in 1821. Wikipedia
