AHEPA Greek School, covering all bases of Greek learning

AHEPA Greek School is an accredited Community Languages School and was established in 2006 to offer tuition in Greek language and culture from prep to secondary school. The school caters for students of all cultural backgrounds who are interested in learning the Greek language.

They are committed to teaching Greek language and culture as a unique concept and actively promote in students, a sense of cultural identity and ethos. AHEPA Greek School is a vibrant small language school that is enjoyed fully by students, teachers and parents.

AHEPA Greek School provides a caring environment that encourages all children to value and respect themselves and others. They lead by example and set out goals and objectives of high standards that reflect upon all the AHEPA Greek School population.

They have developed a curriculum program covering the aspects of listening, speaking, reading, writing, thinking, viewing, singing and dancing as well as incorporating theatre in Greek mythology and history. The curriculum is aligned with the Victorian curriculum and meets all the essential standards.

Students feel safe and happy coming to school. They are engaged, they enjoy learning and as a result, they develop positive social skills for the rest of their lives. Students benefit from a broad variety of activities in the classroom and appreciate undertaking special projects.

AHEPA Greek Shcool operates on the premises of Ivanhoe Girls Grammar School, Marshal Street, Ivanhoe, Victoria, on Mondays between 4:30pm until 7:00pm, in conjunction with Ivanhoe Girls’ term dates and public holidays.
