AHEPA Congratulates New Miss America Georgia Baciliky Betty Cantrell

Congratulations to Miss Georgia Baciliky Betty Cantrell who was crowned Miss America 2016, Sept. 13, 2015. Miss Cantrell is the granddaughter of Brother Stavros G. Andris, an AHEPA Life Member of Solon Chapter 5, Savannah, Ga. She was named after her Greek grandmother, sings in the Greek Orthodox church choir and participates in a Greek dance group.

“The American Hellenic community is proud of her amazing achievement, and we wish her the best during her year as Miss America,” Supreme President Galanis said.
