Greek elections 2015: SYRIZA’s first reactions after early exit poll results

he atmosphere at the SYRIZA party headquarters at Koumoundourou square is euphoric after the first exit polls were announced.

First results suggest that SYRIZA forms a majority government.
Loud cheering was heard at SYRIZAs headquarters, Koumoundourou square, Athens.

Not so far away, at Klafthmonos square people were also cheering Alexis Tsipras’ historic victory over Antonis Samaras’ right wing New Democracy party. People had gathered in the square waiting for what appears to be a victory beyond all expectations. After early exit polls were announced the crowd broke out into loud cheers while most waved SYRIZA flags ecstatically.
