Pandazopoulos re-elected President of W.H.I.A.-Επανεξελέγη πρόεδρος της ΠαΔΕΕ ο Γιάννης Πανταζόπουλος

Victorian Labor MP John Pandazopoulos was re-elected for a third time President of the World Hellenic Inter-parliamentary Association (W.H.I.A), at the ninth General Assembly which was held in Athens this week.

The World Hellenic Inter-parliamentary Association (W.H.I.A), was founded on August 1996 in Athens, Greece, and draws its membership from elected members of Parliament of Greek descent living in non Greek speaking countries. Currently in this body participate MPs of Greek origin from 27 different countries and 72 different parliaments.

Mr. Panadazopoulos and the newly elected members of the board of W.H.I.A. met with the Speaker of the Hellenic Parliament Mr. Evagelos Meimarakis and discussed issues of mutual interest. Mr Meimarakis congratulated Mr. Pandazopoulos and his board on their election, praised the work of the World Hellenic Inter-parliamentary Association and called upon its members to act as ambassadors highlighting the efforts that Greece is making in order to overcome its crisis.

Mr. Pandazopoulos thanked Mr. Meimarakis for his help, informed him about the role and the work of the Inter-parliamentary Association in relation to advancing the image of Greece overseas and stated that by working closely with their Greek counterparts they can all propagate better the good side of Greece, a country of great history, as he said.

Επανεξελέγη Πρόεδρος της ΠαΔΕΕ ο Γιάννης Πανταζόπουλος.

Για τρίτη συνεχή φορά επανεξελέγη Πρόεδρος της Παγκόσμιας Διακοινοβουλευτικής Ένωσης Ελληνισμού (ΠαΔΕΕ) ο κ. Γιάννης Πανταζόπουλος, βουλευτής από τη Βικτώρια Αυστραλίας. Η επανεκλογή του έγινε κατά τη διάρκεια της Γενικής Συνέλευσης του οργάνου που πραγματοποιείται στην Αθήνα (2-4 Ιουλίου, 2013).
